Why BSecura

The difference is in the work, not the brochure

Most camera systems fail for the same few reasons — a position nobody assessed, a disk nobody checked, remote access nobody finished setting up. These are the things we do differently.

  • Professional site survey

We walk the premises before quoting. Light at different hours, sightlines, cable routes and what actually needs to be identifiable — none of which can be judged over the phone.

  • Customised system design

Camera type, lens and mounting chosen for each position. A camera that identifies a face at a doorway is not the camera that watches a yard.

  • Quality equipment

Established brands, with the specification matched to the position rather than to a price point that has to be hit.

  • Expert installation

Cabling routed, secured and terminated to survive weather and time. The install is where most systems are quietly compromised.

  • Remote monitoring set up properly

Access configured per person on their own device, default passwords replaced, and tested before we leave.

  • After-sales support

A number that answers after the invoice is paid, and someone who knows your installation.

  • Maintenance contracts

Scheduled checks so a clouded lens or a failed disk is found before footage is needed, not after.

  • Local service response

Based in Bhavani and working across the district — near enough to attend rather than to schedule for next month.

AI surveillance

Cameras that know the difference between a person and a moth

Conventional motion alerts fire on shadows, rain and passing branches until somebody mutes them — and a muted system is not being watched at all. Detection changes what the footage is for.

  • Human detection

The camera distinguishes a person from vegetation, weather and animals, so alerts stop firing on a moth at 2am.

  • Vehicle detection

Vehicles classified separately from people — useful on gates, yards and approaches where both matter differently.

  • Intrusion detection

An area marked in frame that raises an event when a person enters and remains, rather than when anything passes through.

  • Line crossing

A boundary drawn in the camera view, triggering only on a crossing — and settable for one direction only.

  • Smart alerts

Notifications filtered to events that could matter. The measure of success is whether they are still switched on after a month.

  • Searchable surveillance

Footage indexed by what happened, so finding the moment a vehicle entered takes seconds instead of an evening.

How AI surveillance works in practice

How we work

Six steps, in this order, every time

The sequence matters. Most of what goes wrong with a camera system was decided before anything was mounted.

  • 01

    Understand

What you need to see, and why. The question behind the enquiry is usually more specific than “we need cameras”.

  • 02

    Survey

We visit the premises and assess every position — light, sightlines, cable routes and mounting.

  • 03

    Design

Camera selection, layout, storage and network specified for your site, with the reasoning explained.

  • 04

    Install

Mounting, cabling and termination done to last. Staged so an existing site is never left uncovered.

  • 05

    Configure

Recording, retention, detection rules and remote access — set up and tested, not left at defaults.

  • 06

    Support

Handover you can actually use, then service and maintenance for as long as the system runs.

Industries

Every setting asks a different question

A school's concern is supervision. A warehouse's is the loading bay after dark. A farm's is a long unlit boundary with no mains power nearby. The equipment overlaps; the design does not.

  • Homes

Knowing who came to the gate while the house was empty, and being able to check in from anywhere.

Typically: Entrance and approach coverage, night-capable cameras, mobile access set up for each family member.

  • Retail & Showrooms

Counter activity, shrinkage on the floor, and disputes that come down to what actually happened.

Typically: Till and entrance positions at identification detail, floor coverage, retention long enough to review a past week.

  • Offices

Entry control, reception, and after-hours access to areas holding records or equipment.

Typically: Entrance and reception coverage, server and record room positions, individual remote access per manager.

  • Factories

Gate movement, material handling, and being able to reconstruct an incident on the floor.

Typically: Gate and weighbridge positions, production floor coverage, longer retention, IP network built to extend.

  • Warehouses & Godowns

Loading bays, stock movement, and large unlit spaces outside working hours.

Typically: Bay and aisle coverage, after-hours intrusion detection, wide-area cameras specified for low light.

  • Schools & Colleges

Entry points, corridors and grounds — supervision as much as security.

Typically: Gate and corridor coverage, assembly and ground positions, access limited to named staff.

  • Hospitals & Clinics

Entrances, waiting areas and pharmacy or store rooms, without intruding on clinical privacy.

Typically: Entrance, reception and corridor coverage with camera positions chosen to avoid treatment areas.

  • Institutions

Public-facing entrances, records, and premises used outside normal hours.

Typically: Entrance and counter coverage, record room positions, retention set to the institution's policy.

  • Agriculture & Farms

Long boundaries, pump houses and equipment, usually a distance from any mains supply.

Typically: Solar-powered positions, mobile connectivity, line-crossing detection along the boundary.

Equipment we supply and install

  • Hikvision
  • CP PLUS
  • Dahua
  • EZVIZ
  • Trueview

Brand names are the trademarks of their respective owners. We supply and install this equipment; the selection for any given site is made during the survey.

Free site survey

Find out what your premises actually need

We visit, assess every position and talk through the options. No charge, and no obligation to go ahead. A quotation written without seeing the site is guesswork.

Questions

Things people ask before they call

If your question is not here, ask it on the contact form — the answer usually helps somebody else too.

Is the site survey really free?

Yes. We visit the premises, assess what needs covering and discuss the options with no charge and no obligation to proceed. A quotation written without seeing the site is guesswork — camera positions depend on light, cable routes and sightlines that cannot be judged over the phone.

How many cameras will I need?

It depends on what you need to see rather than on the size of the building. A shop may need three positions chosen carefully; a factory yard may need a dozen. The survey works out which positions answer the questions you actually have, and which would only add cost.

What is the difference between DVR and NVR?

A DVR records from analogue cameras over coaxial cable. An NVR records from IP cameras over network cable, which allows higher resolution, power over the same cable, and easier expansion later. Many older installations can move to higher-resolution cameras over their existing coaxial cable, which avoids most of the cost of rewiring.

Can I view the cameras on my phone?

Yes, on both Android and iPhone, for live view and recorded playback. We set this up during handover on the devices that will actually be used, with separate credentials for each person so access can be withdrawn individually later.

How long is footage kept?

For as long as the storage is sized to hold — commonly somewhere between two weeks and a month, depending on camera count, resolution and frame rate. Tell us how far back you might need to look and we size the recorder for it, rather than fitting a standard disk and leaving you to discover the limit.

Do cameras work at night?

Cameras with infrared produce usable night images, and cameras with low-light colour sensors produce colour images where there is some ambient light. Night performance is the most common disappointment with older systems and is assessed position by position during the survey, because it varies enormously with what lighting already exists.

What happens when the power goes out?

Without a backup supply, recording stops. A UPS keeps the recorder and cameras running through shorter outages, and solar-powered positions run independently of mains entirely. Where outages are frequent, this is worth deciding at design time rather than after the first gap in the recordings.

Do you service systems installed by someone else?

Yes. We take on maintenance for existing installations regardless of who fitted them, and we will tell you honestly where equipment is fine and does not need replacing.

Which areas do you cover?

We are based in Bhavani and work across Anthiyur, Erode, Coimbatore, Sathyamangalam and the surrounding areas. If you are unsure whether your location is covered, ask — it usually is.

What is an AMC and do I need one?

An annual maintenance contract means the system is checked on a schedule instead of only when something has already gone wrong. Camera systems fail quietly — a clouded lens, a failed disk, a camera knocked out of alignment — and none of it is noticed until footage is needed. If your system matters for insurance or for evidence, scheduled checks are what keep it dependable.
